Patna, November 5, 2025 — The first phase of the Bihar Assembly Elections is set to take place tomorrow, with polling scheduled across 121 constituencies. The Election Commission of India has confirmed that all necessary arrangements are in place to ensure a smooth and secure voting process.
Polling personnel, security forces, and election materials have been deployed across designated districts, while final checks are being conducted at polling stations. Authorities have emphasized strict adherence to electoral protocols and voter facilitation measures.
The first phase covers key regions including Champaran, Mithila, Magadh, and parts of Seemanchal. Voting will take place from 7 AM to 6 PM, with special provisions for senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and women voters.
Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trails (VVPATs) have been tested and dispatched. Awareness campaigns and voter helplines remain active to encourage maximum participation.
Officials reiterated their commitment to free, fair, and peaceful elections, urging citizens to exercise their democratic right responsibly and in large numbers.
