Moscow/Kyiv, November 21 — Russian military officials have claimed the capture of Kupyansk, a strategic city in Ukraine’s Kharkov region, marking a significant advance in the ongoing conflict. The announcement was made by senior commanders who briefed President Vladimir Putin on the latest developments.
Authorities said the Zapad (West) troop grouping had seized control of Kupyansk, a vital logistics hub and railway junction.
