New Delhi, December 25, 2025: Leaders of Parliament today paid floral tributes to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary. The solemn ceremony was held in the Central Hall of Parliament House, where members gathered to honor the late statesman’s enduring legacy.
Vice President and Chairman of Rajya Sabha, Jagdeep Dhankhar, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union Ministers, Members of Parliament, and other dignitaries offered flowers at Vajpayee’s portrait. The tribute marked the celebration of “Good Governance Day,” observed annually on December 25 to commemorate Vajpayee’s contributions to democratic values and governance reforms.
Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who served three terms as Prime Minister, is remembered for his leadership, oratory, and vision for India’s development. His tenure witnessed significant economic reforms, infrastructure expansion, and efforts to strengthen India’s global standing.
