The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has begun releasing the results of Class XII verification and re-evaluation applications, providing relief to thousands of students who had sought post-result services. The board confirmed that verified marks and re-evaluated scores are being updated online in a phased manner, ensuring transparency and accessibility for candidates nationwide.
Officials stated that the process covers requests for marks verification, scanned copies of answer books, and re-evaluation of specific subjects. Students whose marks have increased after re-evaluation will receive refunds of the application fees, reinforcing CBSE’s commitment to fairness in its evaluation system.
The initiative follows the board’s adoption of the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system, which assessed nearly 98.6 lakh answer sheets this year. CBSE emphasized that the release of verification and re-evaluation results is part of its broader effort to strengthen accountability and build trust among stakeholders.
Support channels remain active, including the CBSE Tele-Counselling Helpline at 1800 11 8004 and email assistance, to guide students through the process. The board reiterated that all updates should be accessed only through official CBSE portals to avoid misinformation.
