Commercial LPG cylinder prices have been hiked across India’s four major metros from June 1, 2026.
A 19‑kg cylinder now costs ₹3,113.50 in Delhi, ₹3,067.50 in Mumbai, ₹3,255.50 in Kolkata, and ₹3,283 in Chennai.
Domestic LPG cylinder prices remain unchanged, with the 14.2‑kg cylinder priced at ₹913 in Delhi, ₹939 in Kolkata, ₹912.50 in Mumbai, and ₹928.50 in Chennai.
The hike impacts restaurants, hotels, and catering services, raising operating costs and potentially increasing menu prices.
Global crude and LPG supply disruptions, especially due to tensions in West Asia, are cited as the primary reason for the price increase.
Small vendors using 5‑kg cylinders also face tighter margins, as prices for Free Trade LPG cylinders have risen by ₹11 to ₹821.50 in Delhi.
