Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Dr. Jitendra Singh, is chairing the 35th meeting of the Standing Committee of Voluntary Agencies (SCOVA) in New Delhi today. The meeting brings together representatives of pensioners’ associations and senior officials to review issues related to pensioners’ welfare and streamline grievance redressal mechanisms.
Dr. Singh emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring transparency, efficiency, and ease of living for pensioners. He noted that SCOVA serves as an important platform for dialogue between pensioners and the administration, helping to address concerns and improve service delivery.
The 35th SCOVA meeting is expected to deliberate on digital initiatives, simplification of pension processes, and measures to strengthen the support system for retired employees across the country.
