The Jammu and Kashmir government has appointed 20 officers as District Mentors to strengthen the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, the nationwide campaign against drug abuse. The mentors will coordinate awareness programs, monitor district-level initiatives, and support rehabilitation measures.
Officials stated that the appointed mentors will act as nodal officers to ensure effective implementation of the campaign across all districts. Their role includes engaging with schools, colleges, and community organizations to spread awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse.
