Drug peddlers’ properties worth ₹4 crore have been attached in Srinagar under provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
The attachment order was executed as part of a crackdown on narcotics networks, targeting assets acquired through proceeds of drug trafficking.
Officials stated that the properties include residential and commercial holdings linked to individuals involved in organized drug peddling.
The action underscores the government’s resolve to dismantle financial structures supporting narcotics trade in Jammu and Kashmir.
Authorities emphasized that such measures are intended to deter drug peddlers and safeguard communities from the growing menace of narcotics.
