Puducherry, March 27: Election campaigns have intensified across Puducherry as the Union Territory confirmed 294 candidates in the fray for the upcoming Assembly polls. With nominations finalized, political parties and independents have stepped up their outreach efforts, holding rallies, door-to-door campaigns, and public meetings to connect with voters.
Officials from the Election Commission stated that scrutiny of nominations has been completed and the final list of candidates released.
