Punjab Police have arrested two individuals linked to an international smuggling racket in a major operation, recovering 10 kg of ICE (crystal methamphetamine) and 4 kg of heroin.
The arrests were made following intelligence inputs about cross-border narcotics trafficking networks operating in the region, with the seized contraband valued at several crores in the international market.
Officials stated that the accused were part of a larger syndicate with connections to overseas suppliers, and further investigations are underway to trace the network’s financial and logistical channels.
