New Delhi, July 1: The Government today strongly refuted a fake video circulating online that falsely claimed Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced free distribution of electric bicycles. Officials clarified that no such scheme has been launched or announced by the Prime Minister.
Authorities urged citizens not to fall prey to misinformation and emphasized that the video is fabricated. The clarification comes amid rising concerns over misleading content being spread on social media platforms during the ongoing Amarnath Ji Yatra season.
Officials reiterated that verified information regarding government schemes is available only through official channels and appealed to the public to rely on authentic sources for updates.
