The Election Commission of India today released the draft Special Intensive Revision (SIR) electoral roll for Uttar Pradesh. Citizens can now verify their names in the voter list through designated centers and online portals.
Officials confirmed that the claims and objections window will remain open until February 6, 2026, allowing voters to submit corrections, deletions, or new inclusions. The final electoral roll is scheduled to be published on March 6, 2026.
Chief Electoral Officer Navdeep Rinwa stated that all enumeration forms have been digitized to ensure accuracy and transparency. The exercise aims to address legacy data issues and strengthen the integrity of the electoral process.
Authorities have urged citizens to check their details promptly and file necessary applications within the stipulated period to ensure their inclusion in the final voter list.
