Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday personally reviewed the ground-level readiness for the annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026. During the review, Sinha directed that all departments maintain round-the-clock vigilance and provide timely assistance to yatris. The LG also reiterated that strict adherence to registered travel dates and security advisories is essential for smooth conduct of the pilgrimage.
Officials briefed the LG on deployment of security forces, installation of anti-drone systems, and emergency response mechanisms.
