India has achieved a major breakthrough in aerospace technology by developing its first indigenous expendable turbojet engine in the 350 kg thrust class. The development marks an important milestone in the country’s efforts to build advanced propulsion systems and strengthen self-reliance in the defence sector.
The compact turbojet engine has been designed for use in expendable aerial platforms, including unmanned systems, target drones and other defence applications.
