The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) has partnered with the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Jammu and Kashmir, to strengthen Mission LiFE and promote welfare initiatives across the region.
Officials from both institutions highlighted that the collaboration aims to raise awareness about sustainable lifestyles, environmental responsibility, and community welfare. The joint effort is expected to engage students, faculty, and local communities in activities aligned with Mission LiFE’s objectives.
Mission LiFE, launched as a national campaign to encourage eco-friendly practices, emphasizes reducing waste, conserving resources, and adopting sustainable habits. Through this partnership, IUST and CBC J&K plan to organize outreach programs, workshops, and awareness drives to ensure wider participation.
The initiative also seeks to integrate welfare measures, focusing on inclusivity and social responsibility. By combining academic resources with communication outreach, the collaboration is designed to create a stronger impact at the grassroots level.
Representatives of IUST and CBC J&K reiterated their commitment to advancing Mission LiFE and assured that the partnership will contribute to building a more sustainable and equitable society in Jammu and Kashmir.
