Srinagar, July 1: The Jammu & Kashmir Traffic Police today issued a detailed advisory for commuters on NH-44 ahead of the annual Amarnath Ji Yatra. The advisory outlines traffic regulations, diversions, and restricted timings to ensure smooth passage for pilgrims and general travelers.
Officials emphasized that heavy vehicles will face regulated movement during peak yatra hours, while designated routes have been earmarked for pilgrim convoys. Emergency response teams and traffic personnel will remain deployed along sensitive stretches to manage flow and provide assistance.
