New Delhi, November 5, 2025 — The Election Commission of India (ECI) inaugurated the International Election Visitors’ Program (IEVP) 2025 in New Delhi today, welcoming delegates from across the globe to witness and engage with India’s electoral processes and innovations.
The program aims to foster global dialogue on democratic practices, transparency, and electoral integrity. Representatives from election management bodies, international organizations, and diplomatic missions are participating in the initiative, which includes field visits, interactive sessions, and demonstrations of cutting-edge electoral technologies.
Chief Election Commissioner and senior officials addressed the gathering, highlighting India’s commitment to free, fair, and inclusive elections. The IEVP serves as a platform to share India’s experience in managing large-scale elections and to promote mutual learning among democracies.
Delegates will observe polling preparations, voter facilitation measures, and the use of digital tools in election administration. The program also features discussions on voter education, ethical campaigning, and institutional resilience.
