External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has reaffirmed that development cooperation remains a key pillar of the partnership between India and Jamaica, underscoring the importance of shared growth and mutual support.
During his remarks, Jaishankar highlighted India’s commitment to assisting Jamaica in areas such as capacity building, technology transfer, healthcare, and education. He emphasized that these initiatives strengthen bilateral ties and contribute to Jamaica’s sustainable development goals.
The Minister noted that India’s development cooperation programs, including scholarships, training opportunities, and technical assistance, have played a vital role in enhancing people-to-people connections and fostering goodwill between the two nations.
