The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested the alleged mastermind behind the leak of Biology questions for the NEET-UG 2026 examination. Officials confirmed that the accused played a key role in orchestrating the leak, which compromised the integrity of the national medical entrance test.
According to investigators, the accused was involved in coordinating with accomplices to access and circulate the Biology paper ahead of the exam. The CBI has also seized digital evidence and documents linking him to the conspiracy, and further arrests are expected as the probe continues.
The arrest comes after widespread concerns raised by students and parents regarding the sanctity of the NEET-UG examination. Authorities emphasized that strict action will be taken against those attempting to undermine the fairness of competitive exams.
