The National Testing Agency (NTA) has strongly refuted claims circulating on Telegram about a question paper leak in the upcoming NEET UG 2026 re-examination scheduled for June 21. Officials clarified that the allegations are baseless and part of a misinformation campaign aimed at creating panic among students and parents.
NTA emphasized that the re-exam will be conducted under strict security protocols, with multi-layered monitoring at all centres. The agency assured candidates that question papers are secured through encrypted digital systems and transported under high surveillance, leaving no scope for leaks.
Authorities also warned students against engaging with fake Telegram channels and anonymous groups spreading rumours about paper leaks. The NTA reiterated that any misleading content is being tracked in coordination with law enforcement and social media platforms, and strict action will be taken against those attempting to disrupt the examination process.
Reaffirming its commitment to transparency, the NTA urged candidates to rely only on official updates and avoid falling prey to false narratives. The agency highlighted that safeguarding the integrity of NEET UG 2026 is its top priority.
