Islamabad, November 21 — An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale struck parts of Pakistan on Friday, causing panic among residents in several regions. The tremors were felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and adjoining areas, prompting people to rush out of homes and offices.
According to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre, the epicenter of the quake was located in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan, with tremors extending into northern Pakistan. The depth of the earthquake was recorded at approximately 180 kilometers.
