Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the 11th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog in New Delhi today, focusing on the theme “Inclusive Human Development for Viksit Bharat @2047.”
The meeting was held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre and brought together Chief Ministers, Lt Governors, Union Ministers, and senior officials to discuss strategies for equitable growth and development across India.
Key areas of discussion included skilling and employment generation, entrepreneurship and decentralised growth, health and nutrition, and ensuring equity and dignity for all citizens. The meeting also reviewed recommendations from the 5th National Conference of Chief Secretaries held in December 2025.
Union Ministers Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh, along with NITI Aayog Vice Chairman, Members, and CEO, participated in the deliberations. The focus was on leveraging digital public infrastructure, partnerships, and data-driven governance to achieve measurable outcomes.
This Governing Council meeting reinforced the “Team India” approach, aligning state-level visions with national goals to ensure inclusive human development as part of India’s long-term roadmap towards Viksit Bharat by 2047.
