The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast thunderstorms and lightning today across Gangetic West Bengal, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Bihar, Sikkim, Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Mahe.
Heatwave conditions are expected in Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Gujarat, while hot and humid weather will prevail in Konkan, Goa, and Madhya Maharashtra.
Delhi will experience partly cloudy skies due to western disturbance, but no rainfall is expected. The capital recorded 35.6°C on March 8, which is 7.2°C above normal.
