Union Home Minister Amit Shah has declared that border security is no longer the isolated responsibility of a single force, but a collective national duty requiring coordination across agencies.
He announced plans to establish a fool-proof security grid along India’s frontiers, integrating advanced surveillance systems, intelligence sharing, and joint operations to strengthen national defence.
Shah emphasized that the new framework will involve central forces, state police, and local administrations working together to eliminate vulnerabilities and ensure impregnable borders.
Highlighting the role of technology, he pointed to drones, radars, and AI-driven monitoring as key tools in building a modern security architecture.
The Home Minister reiterated that border protection is vital not only for national sovereignty but also for preventing infiltration, smuggling, and narco-terrorism.
