Islamabad, Dec 02: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced plans to hold protests outside the Islamabad High Court and Adiala Jail following the continued unavailability of party chief Imran Khan. Party leaders expressed growing concern over Khan’s whereabouts, urging authorities to provide clarity on his situation.
PTI officials stated that the demonstrations are intended to demand immediate information about their leader and to highlight what they described as a lack of transparency regarding his detention or location. Supporters have been mobilised across Islamabad and surrounding areas to participate in the peaceful protests.
The party emphasised that the protests will remain non-violent, focusing on legal and constitutional avenues to seek answers. Security agencies have reportedly increased presence around key judicial and detention facilities to maintain order during the planned demonstrations.
Meanwhile, political observers noted that Imran Khan’s continued inaccessibility has intensified tensions between PTI and the authorities, with calls from within the party for swift action to ensure the safety and rights of its leader.
PTI leaders reiterated their demand for immediate communication with Imran Khan and warned that they would continue to mobilise supporters until the situation is resolved.
