Tel Aviv, November 6, 2025 — Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz has declared that the country will pursue unrestricted military action against Hamas operatives in Gaza, reaffirming Israel’s stance on eliminating threats to national security.
Speaking at a press briefing, Katz stated that Israel will not be bound by limitations in its efforts to dismantle Hamas’s infrastructure and leadership. He emphasized that operations will continue until all strategic objectives are met, including the neutralization of militant networks and restoration of security for Israeli citizens.
The announcement comes amid ongoing military engagements in Gaza, with airstrikes and ground operations targeting suspected Hamas strongholds. Katz reiterated that Israel’s actions are in response to continued rocket attacks and cross-border threats.
International observers have called for restraint and protection of civilian lives, while regional tensions remain high. Israeli officials maintain that all measures are being taken to minimize collateral damage and adhere to humanitarian protocols.
The Defence Ministry confirmed that operational plans are being coordinated with intelligence agencies and allied partners to ensure precision and effectiveness in the campaign.
