Two people lost their lives and six others sustained injuries in a tragic road accident near Aru Valley in Jammu & Kashmir on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. The incident occurred when a passenger vehicle carrying tourists and locals skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge.
Police officials confirmed that rescue teams, assisted by locals, rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to nearby hospitals. The condition of two injured passengers is reported to be critical, while others are receiving treatment for fractures and minor injuries.
